Piano Suite No. 1

Written throughout my four years of undergrad, Piano Suite No. 1 is an attempt at figuring out what I want my voice as a composer and pianist to sound like. I began to be more deliberate with my notation and gestures. Having been exposed to all sorts of musical genres and ways of engaging with music, I used this piece as a vehicle to experiment with form, various rhythmic devices, and crafting a unique tonal language.
