Dance of the Open Sea

I’ve been obsessed with the idea of writing a piece of music that tells a story of an epic journey, where the ending comes back to the beginning and creates a cyclical story. I think this idea is very uplifting, but still has a slight hint of melancholy. In order for something to start, something else must end. The faster middle section represents the epic journey, and the ending being very similar to the beginning represents the cycle.
